The movie is seen to revitalize the local film industry in November.
There is a tall order waiting for Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards’ highly-anticipated reunion film, Hello, Love, Again, the sequel of former highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, Hello, Love, Goodbye (2019). Not only the pressure of reclaiming the title from Rewind, which nearly grossed ₱1 billion at the global box office, last year, the challenge to extend Joshua Garcia and Julia Barreto’s success at the local box office via Un/Happy For You, is also on Hello, Love, Again‘s shoulders.
Despite such intimidating challenges and projections, it seems the KathDen film is in a great form and place, to bring in record-setting milestones at the box office, come its premiere on November 13. Just looking at the advanced ticket selling happening at SM Cinemas, Robinsons Movieworld, and Ayala Cinemas, one can say that demand for the film has been growing each minute. From the already ₱452k pre-sales it logged within the first 24 hours SM Cinemas opened the advanced ticket selling for the film, it has since grown to ₱4.5 million across the three aforementioned major cinema chains.
In comparison, Un/Happy For You, logged ₱2.2 million in advanced ticket sales, 24 hours before its opening, last month. It should be noted that Hello, Love, Again, is yet to invigorate the local box office, in no less than 5 weeks!
