ABS-CBN broadcast journalist Alvin Elchico has officially joined “TV Patrol” as one of its main anchors along with Noli de Castro, Karen Davila, and Bernadette Sembrano on Monday night (September 2).
Prior to joining “TV Patrol” weeknights, Alvin served as the anchor of “TV Patrol Weekend” for 13 years, while also covering the energy and consumer beat. Starting as a field reporter, Alvin later became the face and anchor of “TV Patrol Bacolod.”
Upon relocating to Manila, Alvin joined ABS-CBN’s AM radio station DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 where he continued his work as one of ABS-CBN’s field reporters.
Apart from “TV Patrol,” Alvin continues to anchor “Gising Pilipinas” with Doris Bigornia on Teleradyo Serbisyo.
Alvin took over the news anchor duties of Henry Omaga Diaz, who bid farewell to viewers last Friday night as he prepares to join his family in Canada after many years of dedicated service as an ABS-CBN broadcast journalist and news anchor.
