TV actress Yukii Takahashi has bid farewell to her role as Camille Castillo in the hit primetime series ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.’
Takahashi’s character, who was the pregnant live-in partner of David Gimaguiba (played by McCoy De Leon), met a tragic end in Friday’s episode, where David ended her life while she was in the Intensive Care Unit.
Following the emotional conclusion of her role, Takahashi took to Instagram to share a series of behind-the-scenes photos, reflecting on her character’s journey and the intense scenes leading up to Camille’s demise.
In her post, she expressed disbelief over the turn of events for her character, writing, “Hindi ako makapaniwalang ganito ang magiging takbo ng storya natin. Sabi mo ako lang.. sabi mo mahal mo ko… ano bang ginawa ko para saktan mo ko ng ganito.”
Takahashi also commended her co-star McCoy De Leon for his portrayal of David, stating, “Grateful to have worked with a co-actor as talented as you. @mccoydeleon.”
In response to her departure, Dreamscape Entertainment, the show’s producer, thanked Takahashi for her contribution to the series. “Maraming salamat, Yukii Takahashi (@yukiiitakahashi) sa pagiging bahagi ng FPJ’s Batang Quiapo. Hanggang sa muli, Camille!” the production company posted on Instagram.
