The recent GMA Gala Night was the talk of the town as speculation swirled around actor-director Xian Lim’s notable absence from the event.
According to a recent episode of ‘Showbiz Update,’ hosted by Ogie Diaz, Mama Loi, and Tita Jegs, Lim’s absence was reportedly due to him not being on the guest list.
Ogie Diaz revealed in the vlog, “Talaga naman daw hindi ini-invite ng GMA si Xian Lim? Totoo ba ‘yun? Hayan tinatanong natin hindi po namin kinukumpirma pero ‘yun po ang umiikot na usap-usapan.”
Diaz further explained that Lim had inquired about his invitation and followed up several times before discovering he was not actually invited. As a result, Lim and his girlfriend, Irish Lee, chose to travel abroad instead.
Tita Jegs added, “Nag Gala naman pala ‘the…”
Ogie Diaz responded, “Gaga wala nga ‘di ba?”
“Sa abroad (tila hindi na-gets ni Ogie), gumala sa abroad,” Tita Jegs reiterated which Ogie replied, “Ah gumala… ’yan ay hindi pa malinaw. Ang importante ay marinig natin kay Xian Lim kung ano ba ang totoo tungkol dito.”
Mama Loi questioned, “Eh kung talagang hindi siya invited ‘nay? Bakit nga ba hindi siya na-invite, e, ‘di ba may mga proyekto siya sa GMA?”
Ogie Diaz explained, “Oo nga, ako rin nagtataka, e, ang dahilan daw ay hindi nila gusto ‘yung attitude ni Xian Lim ng mga prod (production) staff. Ang dami ng balit-balita kay Xian Lim (kaya) magandang malinawan ’yan.”
