As his new game show ‘Wil to Win’ marked its first month on air, TV host Willie Revillame addressed viewers regarding his recent on-air outbursts, asking for understanding amidst the criticism.
During the episode aired on Thursday, August 15, Revillame acknowledged the feedback from viewers who felt uneasy with his visible frustration towards the production staff during live broadcasts.
The veteran host emphasized that his frustration stems from his desire for the show to meet high standards, especially after the team has already rehearsed. “Marami na akong pinagdaanan. […] Kaya nga sana maintindihan n’yo kung ako ho e nagagalit sa ere dahil una, nire-rehearse namin ‘yan, e. Bago kami pumasok dito, nagre-rehearse kami,” he said.
Revillame expressed regret for any offense his actions may have caused but reiterated that his main purpose is to ensure the quality of the show.
