With seasoned contenders finding homes in new teams, huge roster changes announced, new rules to be implemented, and more activities for the community, here are the reasons why MPL PH Season 14 is the most anticipated season of MLBB esports yet:
• MPL PH moves to a new venue; tickets on sale starting 5 August
MPL PH Season 14 moves to a new venue at Green Sun Hotel, Makati for tits 14th iteration. The bigger venue will accommodate 300 on-site fans each broadcast day and have activities to make fans’ experience more immersive.

• New teams, new rivalries, new stories
Aurora (RORA) is officially making its debut in the MPL Philippines with their star-studded lineup that will shake up the competition. While new to the scene, their roster is filled with legacy players who are hungry to take home the crown. The team is composed of seasoned stars from Blacklist International (BLCK) Edward “Edward” Dapadap, Kenneth “Yue” Tadeo, and Renejay “Renejay” Barcase. The team will be led by former BLCK coaches Aniel “Master The Basics” and Dexter Louise “DEXTAR” Alaba.
On the other hand, BLCK will have to make a new code for their winning strategy, as more than half of their team finds a new home in Aurora. Known Filipino imports namely Michael “MPTHEKING” Endino and Gerald “Dlar” Trinchera join as BLCK’s Jungler and EXP Laner, respectively. Will the new wave of Codebreakers be successful in their quest to take home the title? All eyes are on how they will call the shots to win, without their main players this time.
On shot calling, former MPL PH Analyst Caisam “Wolf” Nopueto now joins TNC Pro Team as their Head Coach for the season. Wolf has been consistently part of the MPL PH cast and international talent desk for MLBB’s global events. His participation in TNC as the head coach can significantly boost the team’s knowledge in-game. Will his analyses help the squad as it gears for a massive rebuild ahead of MPL PH Season 14?
• New rules, including the open transfer system
The level of competition in MPL PH will be elevated further with now a full mid-season transfer ecosystem with their respective MLBB Development League (MDL) Philippines teams. Teams can make any adjustments in the middle of the season to position themselves the best to win the most-coveted MPL PH title. More information will be revealed soon!
• More community activities!
Apart from the meet and greet and merch-selling activities, MPL Philippines will also bring back the MPL Smart Battle Trips, an initiative that brings together MLBB fans from different cities, schools, or workplaces to watch the action on the ground. The league will also put the fans’ gaming skills to the test through the MPL PH Infinix Cup where community matches will be held in the arena during breaks.
Moreover, lucky fans of each team will have a chance to meet their idols to sign their merchandise items and win in-game items through the weekly raffle.
Dylan Chia, MOONTON Games Head of Esports for the Philippines, said, “The 14th season of the MPL PH has a lot more than these extraordinary moments and reasons to look forward to; from the league’s incredibly competitive format to the entry of a new esports organization, it’s exciting to witness who will clinch the S14 title and be declared the kings of the biggest MLBB esports tournament in the country.”
MPL Philippines Season 14 is supported by Smart Communications, Inc. and Infinix as its official sponsors. Meanwhile, Index Salon and EMC Asia are this season’s Official Suppliers.
