Young actor Sandro Muhlach is reportedly traumatized after an incident following his attendance at the GMA Gala, according to showbiz insider Ogie Diaz.
In a recent episode of his ‘Showbiz Update,’ Diaz shared, “’Yun nga ‘yung nakarating sa amin, traumatized nga daw ‘yung bata,” indicating the severe impact on Muhlach.
Diaz further revealed that the alleged perpetrators are part of GMA Network’s production team. “Sila ay nasa production ng GMA,” he noted, referring to those accused of abusing the young actor.
According to Diaz’s sources, there is speculation that one of the suspects might be dismissed from their job, while the other might not face such consequences.
The justification given, as per Diaz’s information, was a misunderstanding: “Parang ‘yung isa matatanggal sa trabaho at ‘yung isa eh hindi. Ang binigay daw na rason, nakarating lang naman ito sa akin puwede naman nila tayong ikorek, na ang ibinigay na rason nu’ng mga bading daw, akala nila pa-booking daw ‘yung guy. Parang napagkamalang pa-booking ‘yung bata, na hindi naman.”
The source questioned this reasoning, emphasizing that Sandro is well-known to the two executives: “‘Yung bata eh kilala naman ng dalawang executive kaya bakit ‘yun ang irarason nila during the meeting with the dad and the upper management? At kahit pa sabihin kunyari na pa-booking ‘yung bata, dapat bang patikimin ng iligal substance? Hindi pa ba sapat ang wine, wine lang?”
Although GMA Network’s recent statement did not specifically address this incident, it is worth noting that the network had previously acknowledged a blind item involving two consultants accused of sexually abusing a young actor after a recent gala night.
