BGYO leader Gelo Rivera and actor Paolo Pangilinan have spoken out against baseless rumors linking them to a cheating scandal involving an influencer.
The controversy gained traction on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) after a netizen accused the influencer of having an affair with her boyfriend, leading to widespread speculation and online debate.
As the story circulated, several other celebrities and influencers were dragged into the controversy, including Gelo Rivera. A blind item suggested that the influencer had bragged about being involved with a visual member of a P-pop idol group, leading many to speculate that Gelo was the person in question, given that he is the only P-pop idol followed by the influencer.
Gelo, who is currently on tour with BGYO in the United States, took to X to address the rumors directly. “No. Nananahimik ako sa America. Tigilan n’yo ako haha,” he wrote, firmly dismissing the allegations.
