As if it is unstoppable, the Coco Martin-topbilled action drama, even soared in both metrics, with the arrival of the extremely-hyped new rival series, Pulang Araw.
On Monday, July 29, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, fended off Pulang Araw, in the live concurrent viewership game, logging a stellar 622k online concurrent viewers, or more than 15 times that of Pulang Araw. The series, which features an ensemble of Kapuso Network’s brightest stars, including Barbie Forteza, Alden Richards, Sanya Lopez, David Licauco, and David Licauco, struggled to find footing, falling behind the Kapamily drama series, in both ratings and concurrent viewership games.
Tuesday (July 30) numbers, remained cruel for Pulang Araw, as FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, stamped a new all-time high, with 636k combined live concurrent views on YouTube and Facebook, miles ahead of its rival show’s barely 40,000. Tonight, July 31, which features Irma Adlawan’s Olga, finding out about the tragedy that befell her daughter, Samantha (also Bubbles), live concurrent viewership hit 659,400 for the Kapamilya action series, marking the third time this week the series broke its own record for highest live concurrent viewership.
Ratings-wise, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo devours Pulang Araw, logging a 16.8 and 17.0 people rating, versus Pulang Araw’s 10.8 and 9.1, on Monday, July 29 and Tuesday, July 30, respectively.
