Kapamilya primetime action drama teleserye “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” continues to dominate not only the primetime ratings but also the overall leaderboard, while GMA Network’s “Widows’ War” and “Asawa Ng Asawa Ko (ANAK)” maintained their timeslot leadership.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, FPJBQ remains unbeatable in the primetime race, leaving “Pulang Araw” far behind. Meanwhile, “Widows’ War” and ANAK held on to their respective timeslot leads, though rivals “Pamilya Sagrado” and “High Street” are beginning to close the gap.
On Monday, August 12, FPJBQ registered an 18.0 percent rating, marking its highest since its debut last year. “Pulang Araw” trailed behind at 10.5 percent, placing third on the overall ratings chart.
“Widows’ War,” which took the fourth spot on the leaderboard, posted a rating of 9.4 percent, just 0.6 percent ahead of “Pamilya Sagrado’s” 8.8 percent. However, excluding delayed telecast numbers, this marked “Pamilya Sagrado’s” first timeslot win as “Widows’ War” scored 8.4 percent during their head-to-head airing.
ANAK registered a rating of 8.4 percent, 4.0 percent ahead of “High Street’s” 4.4 percent.
On Tuesday, August 13, FPJBQ’s rating dipped slightly to 16.9 percent but still maintained a comfortable lead over “Pulang Araw,” which scored 9.8 percent. In contrast, “Widows’ War” showed improvement, rising to 9.7 percent, 1.5 percent higher than “Pamilya Sagrado’s” 8.2 percent. ANAK, however, saw a slight decline, posting a rating of 8.1 percent, still 4.0 percent higher than “High Street,” which scored 4.1 percent.
By Wednesday, August 14, FPJBQ continued to slip, dropping another 0.2 percent to 16.7 percent, reducing its lead over “Pulang Araw,” which rose to 10.6 percent. “Widows’ War” also declined, falling to 9.1 percent and narrowing its margin over “Pamilya Sagrado” to 1.0 percent at 8.1 percent. ANAK followed the downward trend, posting a rating of 7.9 percent, still 3.8 percent ahead of “High Street’s” consistent 4.1 percent.
