ABS-CBN and GMA Network continue to dominate the primetime block, with “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ)” and “Asawa Ng Asawa Ko (ANAK)” maintaining their leadership in their respective timeslots.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People ratings, FPJBQ and ANAK consistently lead in their time slots.
On Monday, August 12, FPJBQ topped the ratings chart with an 18.0 percent rating, significantly outperforming its competitor “Pulang Araw,” which came in third with a rating of 10.5 percent. Later that night, ANAK secured an 8.4 percent rating, outpacing the Kapamilya crime thriller “High Street,” which posted a 4.4 percent rating.
The following day, Tuesday, August 13, FPJBQ’s rating dipped slightly to 16.9 percent but maintained its number one position, leading “Pulang Araw” by 6.9 percent as it dropped to 9.8 percent. ANAK also saw a slight decrease, registering 8.1 percent, while “High Street” fell to 4.1 percent.
On Wednesday, August 14, FPJBQ further declined to 16.7 percent but still held a 6.1 percent lead over “Pulang Araw,” which rated 10.6 percent. ANAK continued its downward trend with a 7.9 percent rating, while “High Street” remained steady at 4.1 percent.
Thursday, August 15, saw FPJBQ maintaining its 16.7 percent rating, while “Pulang Araw” improved to 11.2 percent, narrowing the gap to 5.5 percent. ANAK bounced back with an increase to 8.3 percent, and “High Street” saw a slight uptick to 4.2 percent.
Finally, on Friday, August 16, FPJBQ rose slightly to 16.8 percent, widening its lead over “Pulang Araw,” which fell to 10.0 percent. “High Street” also improved to 4.3 percent, while ANAK did not air that day.
