Cindy Miranda, co-host of Willie Revillame’s afternoon game show ‘Wil To Win,’ has cleared up recent speculation regarding the show’s future.
Amid rumors that the program might be canceled, Miranda assured fans that the show will continue to air on TV5.
In response to the circulating rumors, Cindy emphasized that these reports are unfounded. She confirmed that ‘Wil To Win’ is not being taken off the air and will remain a staple on TV5. Cindy also announced that actor Kiko Estrada, who stars alongside her in the upcoming film 40, will be a guest on the show to promote the movie, which premieres on September 5.
“Magge-guest po si Kiko, we will promote our 40 movie sa Wil To Win. Hindi po mawawala ang show ni Kuya Wil sa TV5!” Cindy stated, aiming to put any doubts about the show’s future to rest.
The reassurance came after MediaQuest Holdings Inc., TV5’s parent company, also addressed the rumors. In a statement released on Instagram, MediaQuest dismissed the claims as “malicious and false” and reaffirmed its commitment to the long-term partnership with Revillame.
“Contrary to malicious and false reports, MQuest Ventures and Mr. Willie Revillame’s long-term partnership remains steadfast, committed to spreading happiness and creating winning moments for Filipinos,” the statement read. MediaQuest also celebrated the first month of Wil To Win and expressed gratitude to the viewers and advertisers for their support.
Willie Revillame himself has also responded to the rumors, promising to do everything in his power to ensure that Wil To Win continues. He addressed the issue on air, vowing to maintain the program’s quality and clarify any misunderstandings about recent incidents involving the show.
The excitement around Cindy Miranda and Kiko Estrada’s collaboration in 40 has also generated buzz, with some fans speculating about a potential romance between the two. Despite the speculation, Cindy’s current focus is on her successful projects and the ongoing success of ‘Wil To Win.’
