Brx revelation, double eviction, and new housemates shake up ‘PBB Gen 11’

Surprising twists shake up “Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11,” with Brx’s coming-out confession to Kuya, the recent double eviction of Kanata and Marc, and two new housemates entering the Big Brother house.

In its Monday episode (August 12), the “Seamanluluto ng Bacolod,” Brx Ruiz, confessed to Kuya that he is gay, with a same-sex partner in the outside world for ten years. For Brx, it was the right time to muster the courage and open up about his true identity inside the Big Brother house.

“Gusto ko na mabuhay ng free. ‘Yun nga ang sabi ko, Kuya. The secret of happiness is freedom, and the secret of freedom is courage,” Brx said.

Kuya then applauded his strength in coming out with his true self saying, “Brx, humahanga ako sa katapangan mo. Sa mundong mapanghusga, hindi madali ang pagharap dito. You have taken a brave step. And you have sailed many oceans para humantong sa ganitong desisyon.”

Besides Brx’s revelation, the housemates are still in shock following their first double eviction last Saturday (August 10), with Gen Z housemates Kanata Tapia and Marc Nanninga Jr. both leaving the house after accumulating the lowest percentage of votes, with 11.61% and 5.09% respectively.

But with Kanata and Marc’s double exit, Kuya also doubled the surprise with two new housemates also entering the Big Brother house—recently introducing the “Persevering Bunso ng Quezon City” JP and “Smiling Darling ng Camarines Sur” Joli.

On the other hand, up for eviction this week are nominated housemates Dingdong Bahan/Patrick Ramirez, Brx Ruiz, Jas Dudley-Scales, and Noimie Steikunas.

To vote, download and sign up for free on the Maya app, the official voting partner of PBB Gen 11. Tap the PBB icon to begin voting to save or evict a nominated housemate. Viewers have 15 chances daily to vote and can opt for 10, 50, or 110 votes, to be deducted from their Maya wallet.

Find out the latest happenings inside Kuya’s iconic house in “Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11,” airing Mondays to Fridays at 10:15 PM on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, TV5, and iWantTFC.

PBB also airs every Saturday at 8:30 PM and Sunday at 8:30 PM on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, iWantTFC, and 9:30 PM on TV5. For other updates, follow @ABSCBNPR on Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads, or visit www.abs-cbn.com/newsroom.
