Entertainment media have praised the Cristobals for their dedication to scriptwriters. The company plans to produce films this year and in the coming years, which led them to organize the scriptwriting contest.
“We plan to produce the top 10 scripts as films,” said Engr. Louie, President and CEO of Blvck Entertainment. “Our goal is to encourage young scriptwriters to pursue their filmmaking dreams and to reflect Filipino culture through their stories.”
With the assistance of Director Roman Perez, Jr., who was appointed as Project Creative Director, the Scriptwriting Contest aimed to inspire aspiring and professional writers to create stories for mainstream Philippine cinema or digital streaming platforms.
