Afternoon TV viewership appeared to cool down as ratings for “It’s Showtime,” as well as the popular shows “Abot Kamay Na Pangarap (AKNP)” and “Lilet Matias: Attorney-at-Law (LMAAL),” all saw declines, leading to lower positions on the overall ratings chart.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, AKNP and LMAAL experienced drops in their ratings compared to previous figures, resulting in lower overall rankings.
On Monday, August 12, AKNP recorded an 8.3 percent rating, placing it in the 8th spot on the leaderboard. LMAAL fared slightly better with an 8.7 percent rating, securing the 6th position overall.
On Tuesday, August 13, AKNP improved slightly by 0.2 percent to 8.5 percent, moving up to 6th place. In contrast, LMAAL dropped by 0.1 percent to 8.6 percent, but still climbed to fifth place.
Midweek on Wednesday, August 14, LMAAL held onto its 5th position, though its rating slipped by 0.3 percent to 8.3 percent. AKNP saw a sharper decline, falling to 7.8 percent and dropping three spots to 9th place.
On Thursday, August 15, LMAAL followed the downward trend, dropping to 7.9 percent and moving down to 7th place. AKNP also continued to decline, falling to 7.2 percent but maintaining its 9th position.
However, on Friday, August 16, AKNP showed some recovery, increasing by 0.6 percent to 7.8 percent and moving up to 8th place. LMAAL remained steady with a 7.9 percent rating, retaining its 7th spot on the leaderboard.
