With the finale of their TV series ‘Black Rider’ just around the corner, lead stars Ruru Madrid and Yassi Pressman have expressed their willingness to collaborate again on future projects.
This announcement was made during the media conference for the GMA Network TV series’ finale on Saturday, July 13.
Madrid and Pressman, who also starred together in the 2023 film ‘Video City: Be Kind, Please Rewind,’ were asked if they would consider partnering up for other projects. Pressman responded affirmatively, “Oo naman po,” while Madrid added, “Yes, definitely.”
Madrid praised Pressman for her dedication and professionalism. “Ever since na nakatrabaho ko si Yassi, sobrang laging magaan lang. She’s very dedicated sa craft niya at I would say na napakasarap makatrabaho ang isang taong binubuhos lahat ng kanyang makakaya para mapaganda ang eksena,” he said.
He further commended her collaborative spirit and consistent efforts to ensure their scenes were exemplary. “If ever na may offer, wala naman pong ibang dahilan para hindi namin tanggapin,” Madrid noted.
Both actors expressed their enthusiasm for a potential second season of ‘Black Rider.’ Pressman shared a sense of incompleteness and sadness as the show nears its end. “Nabibitin pa nga po kami. Parang nalulungkot pa po everyone especially the past few taping days,” she said. “Kami po as actors and friends, parang nabi-build pa lang po ‘yung relationships namin together… But with the time that we have, we’re making the most of it.”
Other cast members present at the media conference included Jon Lucas, Raymond Bagatsing, Rio Locsin, Herlene Budol, and Empoy Marquez, who also shared their experiences and reflections on working on the series.
‘Black Rider’ continues to captivate audiences with its gripping storyline, and fans are eagerly anticipating its conclusion while hoping for more collaborations between Madrid and Pressman in the future.
