The show must go on, and Vice Ganda proved just that during his performance at the ‘Love Laban 2 Everyone’ event on June 30 at Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City.
The ‘It’s Showtime’ host and Unkabogable star experienced a technical mishap at the start of his special number when the wrong music was played, disrupting his performance.
Already on stage, Vice humorously halted the performance and addressed the crowd and the technical team, saying, “Cut! Mali ‘yung pinapatugtog n’yo. Mali ‘yung music, mga bakla kayo.”

After the issue was resolved, Vice resumed his performance, delivering a spectacular and captivating show. The stage transformed into a galactic experience, with Vice emerging in a grand gown-like costume. His performance included several quick costume changes that amazed the audience. He was also joined on stage by Asia’s Songbird, Regine Velasquez.
Vice concluded his number with a powerful rendition of ‘Scars to Your Beautiful’ alongside his dance crew, ending on a grand and empowering note.
Vice Ganda was one of the celebrities invited to perform at the pride month celebration ‘Love Laban 2 Everyone,’ originally scheduled for June 22 but postponed due to bad weather. The event continued on June 30, featuring notable LGBTQIA+ community members such as Kaladkaren, Marina Summers, Sassa Gurl, and AC Soriano.
In his closing remarks, Vice Ganda delivered a heartfelt message to the LGBTQIA+ community, emphasizing their worth and rights.
“Listen to this, we are a community of normal, valid, able and capable, and beautiful human beings. Do not let anyone or any group tell us otherwise.
They said, and I believe, that a man is equal to the state and equal to the church. Therefore, equal to any other man.
Vice’s performance and message resonated deeply with the audience, underscoring the importance of acceptance, equality, and pride within the LGBTQIA+ community.
