GMA Network continues its radio dominance in Mega Manila, with both Super Radyo DZBB 594 kHz and Barangay LS 97.1 Forever! retaining their top spots in June.
Based on Nielsen Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data, Super Radyo DZBB 594 solidified its position as the leading AM station with a 38.7 percent total audience share, surpassing closest competitors DZRH 666 (22 percent) and DWWW 774 (16.5 percent)
Beyond delivering breaking news and providing critical and insightful commentaries, Super Radyo DZBB 594 is also highly trusted among listeners in the country.
According to the 2024 Digital News Report (DNR) produced by Oxford University’s Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, Super Radyo DZBB 594 had the highest trust rating among radio brands this year at 65 percent.
Barangay LS 97.1 Forever!, GMA’s flagship FM radio station, continued its reign over Mega Manila airwaves in June.
According to the same data from Nielsen RAM, it captured a total audience share of 53.2 percent, leaving far behind competitors 90.7 Love Radio’s 11.2 percent and Wish 107.5’s 7.1 percent.
Also in June, the podcast series “Barangay Love Stories” on Barangay LS 97.1 Forever! surpassed one million followers on Spotify.
