Kapuso Action-Drama Prince Ruru Madrid and Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo are set to headline ‘Green Bones,’ GMA Pictures’ official entry for the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs announced the exciting collaboration via Instagram, sharing, “Handog ng GMA Pictures at GMA Public Affairs ang espesyal na pagsasama ng dalawa sa pinakapremyadong aktor sa bansa sa pelikulang ‘Green Bones.'”

‘Green Bones’ features a screenplay by Anj Atienza, the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival Best Screenplay awardee, and National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Ricky Lee. The film is directed by Zig Dulay and will also star Kapuso talent Sofia Pablo.
The film’s plot revolves around a man infamous for the brutal murder of his sister and her daughter. As he becomes eligible for parole, a newly assigned prison guard becomes determined to ensure he remains incarcerated, regardless of the cost.
‘Green Bones’ is expected to be a major highlight at the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival, set to take place in December 2024.
