Primetime action hero Ruru Madrid is overjoyed with the immense support he has received as the star of the top-rated action series ‘Black Rider.’
In a recent online media conference, Madrid shared his gratitude and reflected on his journey.
“I would say this is the longest serye na nagawa ko. Throughout the journey ng paggawa po namin ng Black Rider, napakarami pong lessons. Napakarami kong natutunan dito sa proyektong ‘to na alam kong dadalhin ko sa mga susunod pang proyekto na gagawin ko,” Madrid stated.
He hopes that the series will leave a lasting impact and impart important lessons to viewers. “My goal is to entertain people but at the same time, gusto ko lagi akong may naiiwang marka sa kanila at ‘yun ‘yung inspirasyon na nais kong ipamahagi sa kanila. Napakasarap po sa puso. Siguro I would say ngayon, dahil nga sa lahat ng mga natutunan ko dito, mas alam ko na kung ano pa ‘yung mga susunod kong gagawin sa mga susnod ko pang proyekto,” the actor added.
Madrid also expressed his joy at seeing children look up to him as their idol. “Nakakatuwa po. Dati pangarap ko lang ‘yan. Dati ako po ‘yung nasa psosiyon nila. Dati ako ‘yung tumitingala sa mga iniidolo ko at ginagaya ko ‘yung mga ginagawa nila. At ngayon na nandoon po ako sa kung saan po ‘yung mga dati kong iniidolo ko noon, napakasarap po sa puso,” he recounted.
Through ‘Black Rider,’ several of Madrid’s dreams have come true, including becoming an action star. “Kasi pinangarap ko po ito ever since bata ako. Ngayon para bang I’m living mga dream right now. Sobrang grateful po ako sa lahat ng bumubo ng Black Rider na pinagkatiwala po nila itong proyetong ‘to para sa akin,” he said.
Madrid encourages everyone to continue watching the upcoming episodes of ‘Black Rider,’ which won a bronze medal at the 2024 New York Festivals and the 2024 Gandingan Awards for Most Development-oriented Drama Program.
