Although this teleserye hasn’t achieved a single win in the ratings game, the Kapamilya political crime thriller ‘Pamilya Sagrado’ is slowly gaining traction, narrowing the rating gap against its latest rival, “Widows’ War.”
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, ‘Pamilya Sagrado’ has shown consistent growth in ratings, closing in on its competing Kapuso series.
On Monday, July 1, the Piolo Pascual-led teleserye garnered a rating of 6.7 percent, trailing by 1.0 percent behind the pilot episode of GMA Network’s “Widows’ War,” which posted a rating of 7.7 percent (excluding delayed telecast numbers).
The following day, Tuesday, July 2, ‘Pamilya Sagrado’ saw a 0.4 percent increase to 7.1 percent. Meanwhile, “Widows’ War” also rose by 0.6 percent to 8.3 percent, widening the gap to 1.2 percent.
However, on Wednesday, July 3, ‘Pamilya Sagrado’ climbed further, adding 0.6 percent to reach 7.7 percent. “Widows’ War” improved by 0.3 percent to 8.3 percent, reducing the rating gap to just 0.6 percent.
This marks the closest rating gap between the two competing programs since the start of their ratings race, a noticeable contrast from ‘Pamilya Sagrado’s’ previous rival, “My Guardian Alien,” which maintained a sizable ratings lead.

Can ‘Pamilya Sagrado’ continue its upward trend and possibly overtake “Widows’ War” in the near future? Or will the Kapuso series turn the tide and pull away further, replicating the success of its predecessor? We will see.
