Comedian and talk show host Melai Cantiveros has firmly addressed rumors about her husband, Jason Francisco, and his alleged infidelity.
In a recent interview on Bernadette Sembrano’s YouTube channel, Melai dispelled the speculation and expressed confidence in her husband’s faithfulness.
“Sobra ang swerte ko sa asawa dahil siya ang pinaka-faithful sa lahat,” Melai declared, putting an end to the persistent rumors.
Melai attributed the rumors to online gossip.
The couple chose not to engage with the rumors publicly. Parang iisipin nila may isyu talaga.'”
Melai also spoke about her successful career and how it has enabled her to support her family, including her parents who are both facing health challenges.
Despite her success in showbiz, Melai expressed a desire to eventually return to her hometown of General Santos. “Ang buhay ko sa probinsya is a wonderful and very happy life,” she said. “Ako kasi mabilis makuntento… anytime na mawalan ng trabaho at kuwan kaya kong bumalik doon…
Melai and Jason’s love story began on ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up’ in 2009. Initially denying romantic feelings, their friendship blossomed into love as they lived together inside the house, earning them the fan-favorite nickname ‘Melason.’ They continued dating after the show and married in December 2013. Despite facing challenges, including adjustments to married life and relationship rumors, the couple has remained committed to working through their issues together.
This year, Melai continues to enjoy a steady stream of projects, including her latest talk show, ‘Kuan-on-One,’ further solidifying her status as one of the most beloved figures in Philippine entertainment.
