Star of the romantic comedy ‘Chances Are You and I,’ Kelvin Miranda, revealed on May 13 that he is no longer afraid if death comes knocking on his door.
During the press conference for the film, Miranda admitted that unlike his character Sol, he was initially afraid of dying. Sol suffers from a terminal illness but tries to make every moment count.
By playing a pessimistic character, the young star realized that death eventually comes to all.
Hanggang sa gusto mo, ‘di ba?” he wondered.
Rather than just waiting for his time, Miranda took inspiration from his character to live a life without regret.
‘Chances Are You and I’ is directed by Catherine “CC” O. Camarillo, with the story and script by her daughter, Ellis Catrina.
The film was initially shot in South Korea in 2022, where the cast and crew battled the cold weather. Miranda recalls having to will himself to stay in character amid the freezing temperature.
They were able to ignore the cold once they began acting. However, one scene took him and co-star Kira Balinger by surprise, as they braved the cold weather at the break of dawn.
“May isang scene doon.
If you want to watch that particular scene, head to the cinemas as ‘Chances Are You and I’ hits the silver screen on May 29.
