Kathryn Bernardo is now under fire with accusations of being a “playgirl.”
These claims have been circulating online, catching the attention of showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin, who discussed the matter on the latest episode of ‘Showbiz Now Na’ on Sunday, July 7.
Fermin expressed her dismay over the rumors and the negative posts targeting Kathryn.
“Hindi ko nagugustuhan ‘yong mga post ngayon na pinagbibintangan siyang playgirl. I’m sure hindi ‘yan mga taga-suporta ng KathDen. At hindi rin mga tagahanga mismo ni Kathryn Bernardo, ni Alden [Richards],” Fermin said.
She questioned why these allegations were being made: “Bakit ba kasi sinasabi na parang playgirl na si Kath ngayon?”
Co-host Romel Chika suggested a reason for the rumors: “Kasi nga naman, Diyos ko, kung sino-sino na ang mga lalaking nali-link sa kaniya. Si Piolo [Pascual], si Jericho [Rosales], Dominic [Roque], si Alden….si Donny [Pangilinan].”
Fermin expressed sadness over the accusations, pointing out that Kathryn has only had one confirmed relationship.
“Si Daniel Padilla lang po, na hindi pa nagtagumpay,” she noted.
Kathryn and Daniel Padilla confirmed their breakup in November 2023 through their respective social media posts, ending a relationship that had been closely followed by fans.
