Kapamilya star Ivana Alawi is reportedly concluding her role in the primetime series ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ amidst swirling controversy over alleged neglect on set.
In the latest episode of ‘Cristy Ferminute’ on Monday, July 8, showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin divulged the reasons behind Ivana’s impending departure.
“Nag-last shooting day na siya, last taping day na siya sa ‘Batang Quiapo.’ Shinonggal na si Ivana Alawi,” Fermin disclosed.
The columnist further elaborated, “Okay lang ‘yong pag-alis ‘di ba?
Her co-host Romel Chika chimed in, expressing discontent with the situation.
Recently, characters portrayed by Yce Navarro and Elijah Canlas also bid farewell to the series, adding to the ongoing changes within the show.
Meanwhile, rumors have circulated about GMA Network star Kim Domingo potentially assuming a new role opposite Coco Martin in the series.
As of writing, there have been no official statements or responses released regarding Ivana Alawi’s departure and the allegations surrounding it.
