BINI member Aiah Arceta has publicly addressed the importance of personal space and privacy after a concerning incident that followed their recent three-day solo concert.
A video surfaced showing a man abruptly grabbing Aiah in a bar, prompting her to speak out on the matter.
In an Instagram story on Sunday, July 7, Aiah shared her thoughts, stressing her enjoyment in meeting fans and taking photos but underscoring the necessity for respect toward her and her fellow BINI members.
“Don’t get me wrong, I like taking pictures with others, and I enjoy meeting people who are as passionate as we are in the world of music and entertainment,” Aiah stated. “It also warms my heart to hear and see people slowly learning more about me and my group, Bini. But I just hope that people also see and respect us as human beings.”
She added, “We don’t always get to go out lately because we have been busy with work, and the least we can ask for is for others to respect our personal time and our humanity.”
Aiah concluded with a plea for kindness and consideration, particularly in the context of social media. “You never know how much it could take a toll on somebody and affect them on a daily basis. I hope we can fill this world with love, respect, and positivity.”
