After their successful participation in Sinulog 2024, BingoPlus has launched their first grand event in Cebu to show their gratitude for the warm welcome and support from the Cebuanos. Tagged as the BingoPlus Day Cebu Carnival, the launch featured the golden ticket campaign on their application and website, where a person can win up to 100 million Pesos and other prizes.
BingoPlus kicked off the event with a motorcade featuring Miss BingoPlus Universe 2024 Maica Martinez, stretching from E-Mall in Cebu City all the way to Gaisano Grand Mall in Mactan. The motorcade took place on July 26, the day before the main BingoPlus Day Cebu Carnival.
On July 27, a free show featured Tony Labrusca and Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Queens, including Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo, Miss Philippines Charm 2025 Cyrille Payumo, Miss Philippines Eco International 2025 Alexie Mae Brooks, and Miss BingoPlus Universe 2024 Maica Martinez. Content creators from Manila and Cebu were also present at the pre-show to celebrate BingoPlus Day.
Welcoming Cebu’s Pride to the BingoPlus Family
The best way to celebrate the BingoPlus Day Cebu Carnival event was to welcome a certified Cebuana celebrity to the BingoPlus Family. At SM Seaside City Cebu, they officially welcomed Kapamilya actress and Multimedia Idol, Kim Chiu, as the latest celebrity endorser of BingoPlus.
Kim is always proud of her Cebu heritage, and during the event, her Cebuano supporters were ecstatic to welcome her. BingoPlus President Jasper Vicencio officially welcomed her to the family, expressing excitement to work with Kim, knowing her influence will be a big asset to the team. She now joins Alden Richards, Piolo Pascual, and Maine Mendoza.
Total of 10 Million Pesos Worth of Support to DSWD for Typhoon-Affected Families and Communities
Initially, BingoPlus, through their foundation, pledged a total of 8 million Pesos in support to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to help victims of Typhoon Carina in Luzon. With the overwhelming support from their fans at the Cebu Carnival, they decided to pledge an additional 2 million Pesos to support DSWD’s outreach activities.
Aside from supporting DSWD’s efforts for typhoon-affected communities, BingoPlus also rewarded several organizations with empowering programs for Persons with Disabilities (PWD), including the Philippine Accessible Disability Service (PADS), which aims to introduce recreational rehabilitation to PWDs.
The successful BingoPlus Day Cebu Carnival event featured some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, including Erik Santos, Yeng Constantino, Zephanie, and Jason Dy. Meanwhile, P-Pop groups G22, VXON, and YML added excitement to the event with their energetic performances. Additionally, Miss Universe Philippines Queens joined the event, including Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo, Miss Philippines Charm 2025 Cyrille Payumo, Miss Philippines Eco International 2025 Alexie Mae Brooks, and Miss BingoPlus Universe 2024 Maica Martinez.
