Singer-actor and TV host Billy Crawford has announced his willingness to undergo a drug test to address rumors about his weight loss.
The husband of Coleen Garcia firmly denied allegations that illegal drugs are behind his current appearance.
“It’s like a circle sa buhay ko. It’s a non-stop conversation is my ‘nutrition’ or my diet. I’m not on a diet,” Billy said during an interview on GMA Network’s ’24 Oras.’
He added, “It used to faze me. It used to get me. It used to may kurot ng konti. Pero now, it really doesn’t anymore. Nakakatawa na lang.”
“Sa mga nakakakilala sa akin, I am by far one of the few artists who are the ones who don’t try drugs. We can all take a strand of our hair and do tests ngayon din. Puwede kong hamunin lahat ng tao dito ngayon. No problem. I have nothing to hide,” the singer and TV host stated boldly.
“Hindi po ako adik. Adik ako sa pamilya ko. Adik ako sa trabaho ko, and that’s it. I’m living, I think, my life to the fullest right now,” he assured.
Billy also revealed that he has not consumed alcohol or smoked for five years. “With God’s help and God’s grace, I did it. So I think everyone is allowed and able to change. You can change.”
Earlier, Coleen Garcia also denied that her husband has health issues. “We’ve addressed it so many times, to the point na nakakapikon for him kasi how do you change the way you look ‘di ba? Whatever he looks like right now, it’s not an unhealthy thing,” she explained.
Billy’s rigorous work schedule and frequent travel to various countries contribute to his weight loss, Coleen noted. “‘Yung trabaho niya dun, hindi hosting. Nagpe-perform talaga siya sa music festivals. Hindi lang nakakaabot dito, hindi kasi siya masyado nagse-share sa social media. Pero he performs talaga almost every day that he’s there in France. Talagang papayat siya,” she added.
Billy Crawford is expected to return as a judge/coach for a new season of ‘The Voice Kids’ in GMA Network.
