The topic came up during the ‘EXPecially For You’ segment when Vice humorously asked a content creator guest if they had ever been approached to bash him.
Vice Ganda then explained to the audience that some content creators are making money by attacking individuals.
“May mga ganyang content creators, eme-eme ta’s nilalapitan ta’s gagawa sila ng script tapos aatakihin nila ‘yung certain person or party, ganoon pinagkakakitaan nila ngayon,” he remarked.
Karylle, another host on the show, added that earning money by harming others is not a respectable way to make a living. “‘Yun ‘yung literal na kumikita ka pero may tinatapakan kang tao, hindi maganda,” she commented.

The controversy began when Vice initially apologized to Axel on June 2 for misinterpreting his actions during the show. However, on June 4, Vice retracted the apology, stating it was unnecessary since their reaction was justified based on the observed behavior.
During the June 4 episode of ‘It’s Showtime,’ Vice elaborated that he had discussed the incident with the show’s management, producers, staff, and other hosts. He explained that their reaction was based on what they observed from their seats and mentioned that Christine had admitted to feeling uncomfortable, though she had to downplay it in a TikTok video for undisclosed reasons. Vice insisted there was no need to apologize as Axel understood the hosts’ initial reactions.
Despite this, Vice Ganda faced significant backlash on social media, with many critics condemning his decision not to apologize and his reaction during the show.
