TV host-actor Paolo Contis has recently made headlines with significant changes to his social media activity, sparking widespread speculation among fans and netizens.
Contis has unfollowed everyone on his Instagram account, including actress Yen Santos, who was previously the only person he followed. Additionally, he has made his account private.
These changes come amid ongoing rumors that Contis and Santos have ended their relationship. The speculation intensified when Santos deleted all photos of the two together from her Instagram and unfollowed everyone, including Contis.
When asked for a reaction to the rumors, Contis simply stated, “no comment.”
In a recent interview on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,’ Contis explained his desire to keep his personal life out of the public eye. “I think it’s time na ‘yung mga pribadong bagay, mga walang kinalaman sa pag-arte mo o sa craft mo bilang artista, itira mo na ‘yun para sa sarili mo,” he said. He emphasized that his primary responsibility is to his co-actors, GMA, and his bosses, ensuring professionalism and dedication to his craft. Anything na labas du’n, like my family, or anything na hindi na kasama sa pag-arte ko, I think that’s private,” he added.
The breakup rumors first surfaced last year when Contis was linked to his co-host Arra San Agustin. At that time, Contis assured the public that he and Santos were still together, dismissing viral TikTok videos of him and San Agustin as “maliciously edited.”
