ABS-CBN’s latest crime-thriller drama series ‘Pamilya Sagrado’ started airing last week; how did it fare in TV ratings?
Based on the latest rating reports from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, “Pamilya Sagrado’s” pilot week is marked by a lukewarm reception from TV viewers compared to its predecessor, ‘Linlang.’
On Monday, June 17, the Piolo Pascual, Grae Fernandez, and Kyle Echarri starrer teleserye registered a pilot rating of 7.2, taking the overall number 9 position on the ratings board. It’s Kapuso rival ‘My Guardian Alien (MGA)’, on the other hand, scored 2.2 percent more at 9.4 percent, placing sixth on the ratings chart.
On the following day, Tuesday, June 18, ‘Pamilya Sagrado’ slashed 0.2 percent to 7.0 but maintained its number 9 ranking on the leaderboard. MGA likewise slightly dropped to 9.3 percent but also retained its number 4 spot on the leaderboard.
During the midweek on Wednesday, June 19, the Kapamilya primetime teleserye posted a recovery, improving 0.6 percent to 7.6, retaining its 9th ranking vs. MGA’s 10.3 percent, and also maintaining its position at number 4.
On Thursday, June 20, ‘Pamilya Sagrado’ went down again to 7.2, moving 1 notch to the number 10 on the ratings board. MGA, on the other hand, added 0.3 percent to 10.6 percent and remained stable at number 4.
But on Friday, June 21, ‘Pamilya Sagrado’ managed a comeback, registering a rating of 7.7 percent, its highest to date since its pilot. MGA, meanwhile, dropped by 0.6 percent to 10.0 but still remained in the number 4 spot on the leaderboard.
Can ‘Pamilya Sagrado’ further improve in the coming days and duplicate the success of ‘Linlang’ or will MGA remain the timeslot leader until its nearing finale?
