Veteran actor Niño Muhlach has openly supported his father, Alex Muhlach, in his romantic relationship with Mae Fortaleza, a woman who is 52 years younger than him.
Alex, who recently celebrated his 82nd birthday on June 9, has been involved romantically with Mae, who is set to turn 30 this year. Niño expressed his admiration for the relationship, emphasizing that the significant age difference does not pose a barrier to their happiness together.
The actor highlighted that his father and Mae have been together for a decade, their relationship starting in 2014.
Niño Muhlach conveyed his full support for his father’s love life, underscoring that what matters most is Alex’s contentment and joy in his relationship with Mae.
He also commended Mae for her dedication and sacrifice, noting how she has devoted what he described as the “best years of her life” to caring for his father.
In an interview with PEP, Niño Muhlach shared his perspective, stating, “‘Yung prime years ng buhay niya, she gave it up para kay Papa. They’ve been together since she was 20.”
