Former child stars turned newlyweds Nash Aguas and Mika Dela Cruz recently took a trip down memory lane as they revisited the set of the revamped ‘Goin’ Bulilit,’ marking its highly anticipated return to ABS-CBN.
The couple, whose showbiz careers were launched on the popular kiddie gag show, expressed deep nostalgia and sentimentality during their visit to the studio.
“Grabe sobrang nostalgic po, hindi kami maka-focus ni Nash eh, tawa lang kami nang tawa dahil hindi kami makapaniwala na kami ‘yun, grabe ang sarap sa pakiramdam na GB is back,” shared Mika in an interview with ABS-CBN, reminiscing about their beginnings on the show.
For Nash, the show’s return evokes memories of their entire childhood. “Big part of, hindi lang big part eh’, talagang childhood namin ‘yung bumalik, so makita namin na bumalik siya (Goin Bulilit) parang never nawala ganu’n ‘yung pakiramdam,” he added.
During their studio visit, they had the chance to reconnect with former production staff and colleagues they worked closely with during their time on the show.
“Grabe ang saya po. Actually before this, nagkakaroon na kami ng opportunities na magkita-kita so masaya po and excited kami na-miss namin silang lahat definitely and excited rin kami kasi mukhang nakaka-build na rin ng friendships ‘yung mga bata,” Mika shared.
“Very excited and at the same time since nakita namin ang mga dati naming katrabaho ulit and everyone hanggang sa crew walang pinagbago halos sila pa rin so to see your family na intact pa rin after so many years it says a lot about the group.”

Reflecting on their experience, the couple also had words of advice for the new generation of ‘Goin’ Bulilit’ cast members.
“Siguro sa akin, just enjoy the ride it goes by so quickly. And darating rin ang inyong graduation, kaya just enjoy it. And along the way, marami talaga kayong matututunan hindi lang professionally, but at the same time, alagaan niyo ang mga friendships na mabubuo niyo dito sa ‘Goin Bulilit’,” Mika advised.
“Respetuhin n’yo ang mga staff natin, ‘yung pinaka core ng ‘Goin Bulilit’ dahil iba silang mag-alaga, iba silang mag-mahal so ayun lang just enjoy it, i-savour n’yo lahat ng matutunan niyo dahil definitely, magagamit niyo ‘to, hindi lang sa work even sa personal lives,” she added.
Nash echoed her sentiments, emphasizing the importance of savoring the experience. “You’re in good hands, tama si Misis, enjoy niyo lang,” he concluded.
The revived ‘Goin’ Bulilit’ is scheduled to premiere on July 1, airing daily before ‘TV Patrol’ on ABS-CBN.
