Japanese actress Maria Ozawa has been announced as a cast member of GMA Network’s forthcoming historical drama series, ‘Pulang Araw.’
The news was revealed by the show’s head writer, Suzette Doctolero, on her X page.
Maria, who rose to fame in the 2000s, will star alongside another Japanese actor, Jacky Woo. Suzette Doctolero praised Maria for her professionalism and politeness, noting her valuable contributions to the production team’s understanding of Japanese culture.
“Mabait siya ha, napaka polite, very smart too. Napaka professional. Tinuruan niya rin kaming lahat kung paano isuot ng tama ang kimono. She even brought her own kimono na heirloom pa ata,” Doctolero shared.
