Actress Kyline Alcantara has dismissed rumors linking her to basketball player Kobe Paras, stating that she is currently not ready to enter into a romantic relationship.
In an interview aired on ’24 Oras’ on Wednesday, June 5, Alcantara emphasized her focus on self-discovery and personal growth.
When asked about her love life, Alcantara replied, “Hindi pa po,” explaining, “Because feeling ko po dapat ko pang mas kilalanin ang sarili ko.” This statement underscores her commitment to understanding herself better before committing to someone else.
The actress was also queried about any potential suitors, to which she humorously responded, “Meron po ba?” and laughed, adding, “Bahala na lang po muna si God,” indicating her decision to leave her romantic future in divine hands.
Kobe Paras has not yet addressed the rumors concerning his connection to Alcantara.
Speculations about their relationship began in May when keen-eyed netizens noticed that Alcantara and Paras posted photos taken at the same Makati restaurant around the same time. Paras further fueled the rumors by resharing a photo of Alcantara with a white heart emoji.
Alcantara was previously rumored to be involved with Mavy Legaspi, though neither confirmed the relationship. Recently, Alcantara unfollowed Legaspi, his twin sister Cassy, and their mother Carmina Villarroel on social media.
Despite the ongoing rumors, Alcantara remains focused on her personal journey, making it clear that love is not a priority for her at the moment.
