Kapuso fans eagerly awaited the latest GMA Network station ID themed ‘Isa Sa Puso ng Pilipino.’
As Julie Anne San Jose and other Kapuso singers performed ‘Isa Sa Puso ng Pilipino,’ Kapuso celebrities and journalists that GMA Network proudly showcases appeared one by one. A total of 73 Kapuso personalities were featured in the new station ID, led by the Kapuso royal couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.
However, despite the numerous celebrities included, many fans noticed the absence of Jennylyn Mercado, who had just finished her teleserye ‘Love. Die. Repeat’ in March.
This led to various speculations, including rumors of Jennylyn transferring to another network.
On social media, one of Jennylyn’s managers posted on X (formerly Twitter) to calm fans. “Kalma lang bessies. We have Jennylyn’s best interest in mind and we have big plans for her. Unfortunately, we can’t disclose every step we make but we hope to make some announcements soon ,” said Jan Enriquez of Aguila Artist Management.

The search for Jennylyn in the station ID was positively viewed by Jan Enriquez. “Well, it’s a good sign pa rin naman na ganyan kalaki clamor for Jen. Only shows how important she is as an actress ,” he said.

When asked directly about the issue of transferring networks, Jan responded plainly, “Di lang tumugma schedule that day. Grabe naman lol.”

It is noteworthy that Jennylyn Mercado last signed a contract with GMA Network in 2019. She had a primetime project in 2021, but it was put on hold due to her pregnancy with Baby Dylan, her first child with Dennis Trillo. She only returned to work late last year, with her teleserye ‘Love. Die. Repeat’ airing and concluding earlier this year.
Jennylyn started with GMA Network in 2003 after winning as the Ultimate Female Survivor of the first season of ‘Starstruck.’
