Avid Kapuso fans eagerly awaited the latest GMA Network Station ID, themed ‘Isa Sa Puso ng Pilipino.’
As Julie Anne San Jose and other Kapuso singers performed ‘Isa Sa Puso ng Pilipino,’ a parade of Kapuso celebrities and journalists, touted by GMA Network, made their appearances one by one. A total of 73 Kapuso personalities were featured in the new station ID, led by the Kapuso Royal couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.
However, out of the 73, many noted the absence of certain celebrities who, in their view, deserved to be included.
Among them was Jo Berry, who has consistently delivered top-rated teleseryes for GMA Network and has never disappointed.
Also missed were Jennylyn Mercado and Carla Abellana, considered queens in the Kapuso Kingdom for their extensive tenure and contributions as leading ladies.
The remarkable contributions of Eugene Domingo, Jean Garcia, Katrina Halili, and Carmina Villaroel to GMA Network, which have left lasting impressions, were also mentioned.
Fans were also looking forward to seeing Aiai Delas Alas, Xian Lim, Max Collins, Yassi Pressman, Megan Young, Zoren Legaspi, the Legaspi twins Cassy and Mavy, Matteo Guidicelli, Beauty Gonzales, Martin del Rosario, Gabby Concepcion, and Jeric Gonzales.
While many were absent, these were some of the notable figures fans hoped to see in this station ID.
Unveiled in anticipation of the Network’s 75th anniversary next year, the station ID goes beyond a lyrical celebration of GMA Network’s legacy in the broadcast media industry. It delivers a profound message, serving as both a promise and a call to always stand united with Filipinos.
Highlighted by some of the Network’s biggest stars and personalities, ‘Isa Sa Puso ng Pilipino’ underscores GMA Network’s enduring commitment to the Filipino audience.
