Daniel Padilla captivated a large audience at the Sab-Uyan Festival 2024 in Pola, Oriental Mindoro.
The municipal grounds were filled to capacity on Sunday night as fans eagerly awaited his performance, which was second to the last act before Rocksteddy closed the fiesta event.
Daniel’s performance began close to midnight, but the energy and excitement of the crowd never wavered. They patiently waited for his turn at the ‘Latiti Hydro Party,’ a key event of the festival.
From the moment he arrived, the warm reception from the locals was evident. Welcome banners and blue balloons adorned boats at the dock, showing the community’s appreciation for his visit. “Salamat sa pagparine sa Mindoro, Daniel Padilla,” read the banners, reflecting the heartfelt gratitude of the Poleños.
Daniel’s performance did not disappoint. He took to the stage with immense energy, engaging closely with the audience, singing and dancing with enthusiasm. His connection with the crowd was palpable, with one online viewer noting, “Kapag talaga nagpe-perform si Daniel, hindi pwedeng wala siyang connection sa crowd. The audience just knew their timing at kung kailan nila siya sasabayan. Friendly talaga si Daniel.”
After the concert, despite being visibly tired, Daniel took the time to interact with fans, accommodating numerous selfie requests and engaging in light-hearted conversations.
Daniel’s humility was on full display when he introduced each member of the Hilera band, who played alongside him, and reintroduced himself to the audience, saying, “Hello po, magandang gabi po sa inyong lahat, Daniel Padilla po pala. Nagpapakilala lang po muli,” followed by several bows and expressions of gratitude.
The crowd went wild when Daniel emphasized a part of Rico Blanco’s song ‘Antukin,’ modifying the lyrics to, “Nothing will ever break me, wala talaga!” and adding, “‘Tng-in wala!” This passionate display was met with cheers and excitement.

Following the success of his concerts in Davao del Norte and Oriental Mindoro, fans have been urging Daniel to perform in more provinces before taking on larger venues like the Araneta Coliseum or MOA Arena.
