More than half a million viewers tuned in all at the same time to witness the much-awaited face-off between Tindeng and Lena (Charo Santos and Mercedes Cabral) in the action-packed Kapamilya teleserye “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” which recorded a new all-time high of 502,556 peak concurrent views on Kapamilya Online Live on Wednesday (June 26).
The intense episode, which trended online, proved to be a major hit that sparked multiple video reactions and viral posts across social media about how “satisfying” it was to finally see Tindeng humiliate and teach Lena a lesson as the latter, who is the unapologetic mistress of Tindeng’s son-in-law Rigor (John Estrada), regards herself as the queen of the household as if she were the legal wife.
Netizens cheered as a furious Tindeng charged at Lena and dragged the former police out of her room.
“Speechless, grabeeee one of the most intense confrontation ever. Ms Charo you are timeless, and such an inspiring actor that everyone could look up to! Kudos to Lena, apaka galing din,” commented user @justinemoreno9146 on YouTube.
“Sobrang satisfying ng ilang araw na paghihintay sa epic na sabunutan at sampalan ni Lena at Tindeng, lalo na yung limitless na sampal ni Mam Charo kay Mercedes at pagkaladkad habang sinasabunutan!” posted @Carlosmiguel652 on X.
As the story continues in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” chaos will further arise in Rigor’s household when they learn about Tindeng and Lena’s clash. Meanwhile, Tanggol (Coco Martin) will momentarily shift his focus on a new mission as he vows to get revenge on Pablo (Elijah Canlas) for harming Bubbles (Ivana Alawi).
