Kapamilya stars Carlo Aquino and Charlie Dizon tied the knot today, June 9, at a private resort in Silang, Cavite.
ABS-CBN News confirmed the event, revealing a notable roster of principal sponsors including ABS-CBN CEO and President Carlo Katigbak, COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN Board of Directors member Charo Santos-Concio, along with celebrities Maricel Soriano, Olivia Lamasan, Vilma Santos-Recto, Veronique del Rosario-Corpuz of Viva, Star Magic Head Laurenti Dyogi, and political figures Senator Bong Revilla and Congresswoman Lani Mercado.
Sue Ramirez served as the maid of honor, while Belle Mariano, Kaila Estrada, and Adrian Lindayag were the bridesmaids.
Groomsmen included Ketchup Eusebio and Ramon Bautista. Special ceremonial roles were filled by Loisa Andalio as the candle bearer, Elisse Joson with the veil, and Alexa Ilacad with the cord.

The couple had previously sparked engagement rumors in February when Dizon was spotted wearing a ring. Aquino had mentioned during that time that although he saw Dizon as “the one,” they had no immediate plans to wed.
Adding to the joyous occasion, Dizon was recently honored with the Best Actress award at the 2024 Gawad Urian for her role in ‘Third World Romance.’
