This new writing contest, themed “Crafting dreams, creating new cinema for Filipinos,” has attracted numerous talented writers from across the country.

- ‘Huling Korona’ by Kulbinderjit Paul Cudal
- ‘Memories of the Forgotten’ by James Evangelista Ambito
- ‘Tres Marias’ by Mario M. Banzon
- ‘Mento’ by Ronald Batallones
- ‘Little Miss Hope’ by Abet Pagdagdagan
- ‘Habang Tulog ang Mundo’ by Gian Arre
- ‘Drifters of Britania’ by Nash Casiño
- ‘GRRRBAGE’ by Kristofer Ted Navarro
- ‘Chester’s Eight Birthday Party’ by Joseph Abello
These ten exceptional scripts have been selected for their originality, storytelling, and potential to contribute significantly to Filipino cinema.
The competition offers substantial cash prizes, with the top three winners set to receive:
1st Prize: 100,000 PHP
2nd Prize: 50,000 PHP
3rd Prize: 30,000 PHP
Additionally, each of the remaining finalists will receive a consolation prize of 10,000 PHP.
The winners will be officially announced in July, marking an exciting moment for both the finalists and the future of Filipino film. This competition is a significant initiative by BLVCK Entertainment and BLVCK Films to nurture and recognize new talent in the industry.
