The Kapuso action-drama series “Black Rider” is once again closing in on the ratings of its Kapamilya rival, “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ).”
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey ratings, “Black Rider” has drawn closer in the ratings race against the competing Kapamilya action-drama series FPJBQ.
On Monday, June 17, FPJBQ maintained its overall number 1 position with a rating of 14.3. “Black Rider” received a rating of 11.3, resulting in a 3.0% rating gap.
The following day, Tuesday, June 18, FPJBQ dropped to the overall number 2 spot with a rating of 13.7. Meanwhile, “Black Rider” reduced the rating margin to 2.0 percent, achieving an improved rating of 11.7 percent.
On Wednesday, June 19, “Black Rider” came even closer with a rating of 12.8 percent, just 1.3 percent lower than FPJBQ’s 14.1 percent.
FPJBQ rebounded significantly on Thursday, June 20, with a rating of 16.5 percent, 4.2 percent higher than “Black Rider,” which had a rating of 12.7 percent.
However, on Friday, June 21, the two shows recorded their closest ratings of the week, with “Black Rider” achieving 13.4 percent, only 1.0 percent lower than FPJBQ’s 14.4 percent.
Will this close competition between “Black Rider” and FPJBQ continue? Or will FPJBQ surge ahead and leave “Black Rider” trailing with a significant gap?
