P-pop girl group BINI had to abruptly end their performance during the 126th Independence Day celebration at the Quirino Grandstand on June 12 due to safety concerns caused by unruly fans.
The highly anticipated event saw an enthusiastic crowd, but some fans’ behavior quickly turned problematic. Reports indicated that several fans climbed scaffoldings and refused to maintain a safe distance from the stage, raising significant safety concerns.
After delivering a spirited performance of their hit song ‘Lagi,’ BINI members addressed the crowd, urging them to step back for their safety.
“Bago ang lahat, bago kami magpatuloy kailangan naming kayo kumalma guys dahil mahihirapan ang mga security natin,” BINI member Jhoanna appealed to the audience.
BINI Maloi also pointed out someone climbing a scaffolding, expressing concern for their safety and asking them to come down. Dance coach Mickey Perz intervened, stressing the importance of following safety instructions to prevent any incidents.
“Blooms alam naming kanina pa kayo andito at matagal kayong anghintay sa BINI. Ang BINI din ay naghihintay sa inyo. Kung hindi tayo magiging kalma, hindi na po kami makaka-perform kasi importante sa BINI na safe mag-perform,” Mickey addressed the crowd.
coach mickey had to go on stage para pakalmahin blooms pero hindi na talaga macontrol yung crowd. Always prioritize your safety po sana. Hindi rin gusto ng girls na makita nila na nagkaka-ganto, alam niyo naman yung nangyari before eh :((#BINI_MusikalayaanConcert#BINI @BINI_ph pic.twitter.com/FNc3KhfhGx
