GMA Network’s longest-running weekly fantasy mini-series ‘Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko (DKNLK)’ made its TV return last weekend. How did it perform in TV ratings?
According to the most recent Nielsen NUTAM People survey, DKNLK made a respectable comeback, securing a spot in the top 10 most-watched TV programs in the country.
On Saturday, June 1, the Kapuso fantasy series registered a rating of 5.3 percent, tying for the number 9 spot on the overall ratings chart with another Kapuso show, ‘Wish Ko Lang.’
The comeback episode featured the re-airing of ‘Lady and Luke,’ starring the popular Kapuso loveteam BarDa, composed of Barbie Forteza and David Licauco. Compared to its original airing, the rerun pilot fell short by 1.5 percent, with the original pilot having achieved a rating of 6.8 percent.
‘Lady and Luke’ follows the story of property manager Lady (Barbie), who faces a terrifying problem involving a curse that causes her body to move against her will. Luke (David), a caring contractor, helps Lady uncover the root cause of this eerie anomaly.
Meanwhile, leading the overall Saturday leaderboard was ‘Running Man Philippines’ with a rating of 11.0 percent, followed by ‘Magpakailanman’ with a rating of 9.0 percent. In third place was ‘It’s Showtime,’ which recorded a rating of 8.0 percent. ‘Abot Kamay Na Pangarap’ came in fourth with a rating of 7.5 percent, and completing the top 5 was ‘Pepito Manaloto,’ registering a rating of 7.2 percent.
