The Kapamilya Network edged out fellow media giant, and toughest rival, GMA Network, on the two biggest social media platforms on the internet.
ABS-CBN continues to expand it digital stronghold, with record-high subscribers and followers on social media. Still the most subscribed Southeast Asian-based media company, on YouTube, ABS-CBN Entertainment hit 48 million subscribers, which is more than 12 million ahead of its toughest rival, GMA Network (with 35.5 million subscribers).

On Facebook, ABS-CBN’s main official page, is also ahead of other local pages, with its number of followers, hitting 40 million, in June.
Combined with other official accounts by ABS-CBN, the company’s social media network is now consisting of more 100 million users, the most for any media company in the Philippines.
