Fans are buzzing with excitement as Star Cinema dropped a tantalizing teaser for an upcoming film collaboration with GMA Pictures.
The studio shared an image featuring clouds and the word “Hello!” on their Instagram page on Friday, May 17, sparking widespread speculation.
The post, captioned “[On my way]!” along with airplane and cloud emojis, hinted at an announcement set for Sunday, May 19, at 6 p.m. Manila time. This follows a previous teaser from Star Cinema that proclaimed, “This is finally happening!”
The comments section was abuzz with fans speculating about the project, with many convinced it is the sequel to the hit film ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye,’ starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards.
Alden Richards added fuel to the speculation, expressing his hopes for a sequel. “Hindi pa tayo sure but let’s hope for the best,” he said.
In April, ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ director Cathy Garcia-Sampana and writer Carmi Raymundo generated excitement by referencing the blockbuster film while at an airport in Hong Kong.

The original 2019 film, featuring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, along with Kakai Bautista, Joross Gamboa, Maymay Entrata, and Lovely Abella, was the highest-grossing film in the Philippines until it was surpassed by Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes’ ‘Rewind’ earlier this year.
With the collaboration between two of the Philippines’ biggest film studios, fans eagerly await the official announcement, hoping for the confirmation of the much-anticipated sequel.
