The Kapuso family-fantasy drama series “My Guardian Alien (MGA)” spoiled “Linlang’s” supposed sweep last week by securing a single-day win, according to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People ratings report.
On Friday, May 24, the Marian Rivera-led series MGA outperformed its rival teleserye led by Kim Chui, with a rating of 8.5 percent, 0.3 percent higher than Chui’s Linlang, which scored 8.2 percent.
This was the first time the Kapuso primetime series regained the lead since Friday, May 17, when MGA recorded a rating of 9.4 percent, 0.4 percent higher than Linlang’s 9.0 percent.
However, before MGA’s recent win, Linlang had dominated the week for four days.
On Monday, May 20, MGA garnered a rating of 9.4 percent, which was 1.6 percent lower than Linlang’s 11.0 percent.
The following day, Tuesday, May 21, MGA’s rating slightly dropped to 9.3 percent, increasing Linlang’s lead to 1.7 percent as it maintained an 11.0 percent rating.
During midweek on Wednesday, May 22, MGA’s ratings continued to fall, recording 8.8 percent, while Linlang also dropped to 8.9 percent.
And on Thursday, May 23, MGA retained its 8.8 percent rating, while Linlang recovered slightly, rising to 9.0 percent.
