Actress Loisa Andalio has extended an apology in response to the backlash sparked by her recent remarks regarding solo travelers.
Andalio’s comments were originally made during an interview with entertainment website PEP, where she expressed her personal views on solo travel, questioning the appeal of traveling alone.
After facing criticism for her remarks, Andalio clarified her stance in a subsequent interview, acknowledging the possibility of misinterpretation and expressing regret if her comments had offended anyone.
She emphasized that her statements were reflective of her personal preferences and did not intend to disparage or dismiss the choices of others.
“Ang opinyon ko dun parang for me, kung ako mag-so-solo travel grabe siguro ‘yung pinagdadaanan ko para umabot ako sa mag-solo na lang kasi ako ‘yung personality ko gusto ko kasama si Ronnie (Alonte) or ‘yung friends or ‘yung family,”
Andalio explained.
Andalio’s apology underscores her respect for diverse perspectives and her commitment to fostering understanding in public discourse.
She concluded by reaffirming her appreciation for differing viewpoints and her intention to engage in meaningful dialogue with her audience.
