The Kapamilya romantic drama thriller ‘Linlang’ has bounced back to reclaim its leading position in its timeslot, overtaking its rival ‘My Guardian Alien (MGA)’ after a three-day losing streak.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey ratings, ‘Linlang’ has once again secured the top spot in its timeslot, outperforming its competitor, ‘My Guardian Alien.’
On Friday, April 26th, the teleserye led by Kim Chiu and Paolo Aveline garnered a rating of 10.0 percent, securing the fifth position overall in the ratings chart, tied with the Kapuso afternoon series ‘Lilet Matias, Attorney-at-Law.’ Meanwhile, MGA scored 9.3 percent, landing in the sixth position.
In this particular episode, ‘Linlang’ featured a gripping confrontation between Alex (played by JM De Guzman) and Sylvia (portrayed by Kyla Estrada), which led to Sylvia’s death. Alex, in an attempt to conceal the truth, framed Victor (played by Paolo Avelino) for Sylvia’s death, implicating him in the crime scene and ultimately leading to his wrongful imprisonment for murder.
Prior to reclaiming its leading position in the timeslot, ‘Linlang’ had been outshined by MGA for three consecutive days.
On Tuesday, April 23rd, ‘Linlang’ recorded a rating of 10.1 percent, trailing behind ‘MGA’ by 0.9 percent, while on Wednesday, April 24th, it maintained a rating of 10.0 percent, 0.7 percent lower than ‘MGA’s’ 10.7 percent. Finally, on Thursday, April 25th, ‘Linlang’ dropped to 9.7 percent, falling behind ‘MGA,’ which garnered a rating of 10.0 percent.
