On May 4, Kokoy de Santos revealed that he was terrified of two things: heights and horror. The second season of ‘Running Man Philippines’ almost made him quit due to these fears.
Kasi gusto ko na pong mag-back out talaga, hahaha!” he said during the show’s press conference at GMA Network Studio.
In the first season, he confronted his fear of heights. In the second season, another phobia of his, horror, was featured in one of the challenges.
De Santos clarified that he didn’t intend to leave the show entirely but simply wished to avoid that particular challenge. He even asked the interpreter if he could sit out or have someone accompany him, but neither option was available.
Matatakutin po ako eh,” he explained.
Meanwhile, fellow contestant Buboy Villar poses the biggest threat to de Santos’s aspirations of becoming the ultimate runner in the latest season of “Running Man PH.” Besides Angel Guardian, de Santos considers the comedian his toughest rival.
“Kami ni Buboy kapag nag-aabot kami, parang, ‘Ano ba ‘yan!’ Gusto namin chill lang. Pero kapag nag-abot kami, parang, ‘Hindi eh. Minsan lang ito mangyari. Bigay natin ‘to.’
Will he emerge as the ultimate winner? Tune in every weekend on GMA Network to find out!
